I have climbed extensively across the UK and organised and led expeditions in the Pyrenees, Alps and Himalayas.

I have even been employed as a specialist mountain guide by TV production companies. I love being in the mountains – it’s why I live in North Wales.  I understand the hill country environment in all its beauty and have total respect for it.

These are qualities that I hope I bring to my illustration work in every guise – whether it’s a book cover illustration or a practical guide to enable people of all abilities to enjoy the mountains safely.
